He barely scraped his way into Hightou Academy. Himura's a good friend, and willing to work for his grades, his friends, and what has to be done. On the first days of classes he's surprised that Jones even made it in, and is relieved to see a few friendly faces like; Aoshi, Makoto, and Taro. Usually Himura spends his time sparring or drawing.
She's your usual girl next door character. She's been good friends with Himura and the rest of the group since they were young. Even though she's a good student she tends to fall behind because she gets so wrapped up with life and its many issues. Like Himura she loves to draw, but does not fight like the guys.
Jones is a strong willed man with ambitious dreams and crazy ideas. He pushes forward with a drive to do what he needs to do unlike many of the other students. However, he uses none of this drive for bettering his studies and GPA. When it times to a sparring match Jones is unmatched and able to fight almost any opponent.
Her role in the story is the loose girl, but she's not as loose as she seems. She's the younger sister of Ms. Kurenai. Her and her sister will flaunt their assets, but won't give anything away easily. Despite her looks she's actually a good student and has dreams and aspirations of having her own students to teach one day. She's eventually becomes great friends with Chi.
